Hi Susie, I can’t wait to hear the responses you get as I have just ordered month one full program for my 13 year old with Lyme induced aspergers. I have no results to share either way yet, but my doc told me to try it as he has another little girl with lyme in his practise using it and doing really well? I am going to retry mms and rife and keep the others on rife and herbs. We are herxing with rife but use herbs to kill biofilms and co infections. Also was wondering if rifing is to be continued or stopped while on the program (Rosner suggests using rotating herbs for only 2 weeks at a time & not rifing at that time). Would like to hear successful experiences on either protocol. Thanks.Susie

,

When you take the herbs, do you continue to rife at the same time, or do you

stop rifing? Good luck with your child & please keep us posted as progress is

made. Thanks.

i was taking samento and banderal and was told because there antimicrobial you shouldnt but these 2 herbs taken together from reading the literature work on all stages of lyme so personally i think it would probably be good if you can handle it.My doc told me not to take them because he feels they would throw the growth pattern of the spiro off and that rifing would be less effective but thats just his speculation. When you take these 2 herbs as part of his protocol make sure you take them on a empty stomach 20 minutes apart usually you take samento first. Also start out very very slow as you will get a very strong herx reaction if your bacterial load is high.

TB,

I am most positive that I would not be taking the 2 herbs at the same time, esp.

initially. But I have read another version of the protocol which calls for

taking the Samento for 12.5 days, stopping for 1.5 days & then starting with the

Banderol & then keep rotating. I don't know what the significance of 1/2 days

are in the protocol. If one continues to rife during treatment, it will be

difficult to determine if the herx is from rife or herbs. That's the downside.

But the upside is that the herbs are supposed to work on all stages of Lyme,

which I read about also. Hopefully, other people will also comment on their

experiences. Thanks.

Hi Susie, We all use serraptase and nattokinase to kill biofilms and we rife. We also use nutrimedics Burbur to detox and pinella for neuro and nerves and find all of these essential and dramatically effective. I hear reports pro and against but this works well to kill and minimise herxing for us. We are all so different! First as to your subject line , the cowden protocol is all herbal I trook Banderol for quite a while by itself and in combination with other herbs ,but I had not started using samento until a few weeks ago.My body doesnt like the samento much. So I end up taking it maybe every other day or every three days.My body loves banderol.Of course ,originally I was using the Banderol fot a sinus infection that was severe and I noticed I had a four day period ofgood days just using banderol. So it can definitely affect lyme.Samento and banderol together supposedly works well.I cant really say i feel any better on in than I did with banderol alone.I also when using banderol, used cumanda and quina and enula to attack the multiple infections..I have not had any really good days since starting the samento.Whether that becaus emore killing is

being done or the lyme is hiding from the samento i do not know..I just know that mybody doesnt like it much .especially the stomach upset from it .jan Re: Cowden protocol vs. herbs & rifing Posted by: "T.B" candlemn42@... candlemn42@... Jan,

So you actually had some improvement before starting Samento. That was good.

Did you get up to the 30 drops twice daily for Samento, Cumanda, Quina & Enula?

I'm concerned about taking so many different herbs at the same time/same day

because I have trouble taking 1 at a time, but I don't think the program will be

effective if they're not all taken. I also don't know how far one can deviate

from the time schedule. Did you go according to the 12-1/2 days on 36 hrs off,

etc? I was wondering if the 1/2 day meant taking the lunch doses & then

stopping or what. I at least know now that Samento can cause a stomachache.

Thanks for your input.
