I hope you, and all our new members will find information, empathy, and the occasional kick in the butt that we all need. I live in SW Montana, and am only a few years younger than you. We have people of all ages, with a large variety of types of chronic pain. Once again welcome to our group. Now, I need to get to bed. Guest guest
Welcome , I am in northern Illinois and one year older than you. My mom lives with my husband and I. You will learn a lot of valuable information here. I know that I have. I hope to see you here often and am glad that you joined our group. I am also on pain medication and antidepressants. That is fairly common here. Pain on a daily basis is hard on everyone. You are not alone. Cheryl V > Grigg lgrigg1951@...> wote: >I am 56, and live with my son and his family. I understand how much this pain can interfere with a normal life and functioning in a normal way. Along with my daily pain meds, I also am on depression meds. Thank you for letting me join your group.
Guest guest
Hello there. I think this group is really inspiring. I was very depressed because of my health, but have now managed to come off Prozac after a few years on it. I kept wanting to turn the clock back to when I could move easily and run and climb stairs normally. Now I accept those days are gone. Life is different. I let go of the old to make room for the new. I wish all new members (I'm one) well and am grateful for everyone who takes the trouble to run the site and help SO many people. I am 54, soon to be 55, and I have a disease that acts much like fibro, only there are large lumps and bumps that are painful as a " bonus " . I have the exhaustion, and the depression as well. This group helps a lot. Please feel free to post here anytime. I have ranted a few nights myself. I live in AZ 1/2 the year and in California - north coast the other 1/2. Feel free to email me off line anytime if you feel like it. Again, welcome. Carin//Calle in AZ

Guest guest
Welcome to the group , And welcome to all of you here. I mostly lurk in the background. Like you I have three herniated disks in my neck with fibroymyalgia. And in most days I am in such sever pain. I am at the library using the computer as we don't have internet access at home. I tried that Lyrica that they are advertising and it didn't help at all. In fact I was in more pain than before. But I hope those of you who do try Lyrica have good luck with it. Well have to go for now. Good luck everyone with finding relief from your pain.
