Guest guest
Thank you once again! I have been dealing with this for 16 months now. Every morning I wake and have to ascess my condition for the day, which will almost always get worse. I woke once to no pain, about 11 months into my recovery and wept, because I had no pain. I didn't know what to do! the pains came back by noon. I drop things frequently now, they just fall out of my hands! I believe this is do to nerve damage. I have had my SI go out to the point that I fall to the ground and can't move my left leg at all. A complete temporary parallists if you will. It lasted about 10-15 minutes then would just turn into the shooting pain down my leg. I would love to try accupucture but simply can't afford it at this point. I am self employed and this has ruined me finacially. I did see a physical therapist which gave me exercises to do at home. I was very deligent in doing them for many months but have recently given up on them. I believe that my size may bias the therapist and doctors against me. I am very tall and appear to be in great shape. I have lost over 40 pounds in the past 16 months and never find myself hungery. I do see a osteopath once a week, he is remarkable! He told me that he will get his money from the insurance company and does not demand payment. Once again thank you for all of your advise, and support, . Guest guest
Hi Lyndi ! and thanks for the response. Those few times I fell, was from my lumbar going out so badly that my left leg would just stop working all together. I wouldn't feel a thing just boom! It luckily only lasted 10 minutes or so, then I would get the surging pains and be able to move it again. My osteopath starts at my feet and staightens my whole body every week. It is useally a painful process but pays off afterward! He has gotten rid of the relentless mid-back and neck and headache I had continuesly for the first 11 months or so. Now those pains just come and go with all the others. I do hope your situation improves and many blessings, .
