Just about all pain doctors now are on the conservative side about giving out a

whole lot pain meds. If all someone is getting from his pain speclist is

injections and pills, with out trying to find the

cause of the pain you need to change doctors. I went to two pain doctors, that

for several years all they did was give useless injections and pills out, more

like a shot assemble line.

They never tried to find the cause of my pain, no tests at all. The one I have

now is very aggressive about things, He’s run tests

and did things I’m sure the other two had never heard of, or if they did know,

they didn’t want to do them.

Now I have almost got a handle on my 24/7 pain, but he has found where my pain

is really coming from and thinks before long I will have some long time relief.

All the other specialist I went to all they could come up with is I have a

‘neuropathy’. Well all that means is some where a nerve is in trouble, but they

didn’t know where.

The new pain doctor worked very hard and did find where the nerves are messed

up. Don't settle just for pills and a do nothing doctor.
