Guest guest
My nada wanted to go with me today to buy an ipod for my son. Fine. But, I today, I realized that she purposelly goes out of her way to say things that annoy me. The more annoyed I become, the happier she seems to be by it, and the more she sais it. Then, she'll follow it with something innocent and sweet or just plain dumb as if to throw you off guard that she's just been abusing you for an hour and 1/2. She was on her " hair " thing again today. First, she gave me twenty dollars as an apology for telling me that she didn't like my hair. After all, " it's a beautiful color " she sais. Then, for the next two GOSH DARN hours that we are together she goes on and on and on. I told her, I didn't want to hear about people's hair anymore. I told her it's her problem, not mine and that she has a hair obsession. As I was walking away, she shouts, " We've got to get that hair permed and cut shorter. " I walked up to her car and snarled back, " I have heard this crap all day. And I'm done with it. " She said, " I know. Well, you make an appointment. " ARGHIGH! What an idiot. I can't stand her! How many times do I have to say shut up about my hair! She persists until I'm insane. I'm thinking that is how she has gotten her way in the past with people. My sister used to do the same thing to her. As a teenager, she'd harrass her continuously about something until Nada gave in and let her do it. So, I'm thinking the egg doesn't fall far from the tree. I think that she is jealous of my hair and wants me to look older than I am. It's almost like she is trying to stuff me into old lady clothes and hair. She said, " Why is it your so pretty and your mother is not? " I had reminded her that she is forty years older than I am. I'm just younger and not necessarily better looking. Now, it's like she hopes to even us up by making me older. So bizzare it's un-believable. One day when she picked on me continuously for my choice of pants, she went out to the same store that I said I'd purchased them at, and bought her self the same pair exactly. And I saw her in them a week later. Mind blowing insanity! Why is it so hard for her to just say, " oh, I like your pants. I think I'll buy myself a pair. " Instead, she had to pick on me over and over again about my " dumb " pants.
