Guest guest
You might already do this, but I would recommend that you write down the things that you want to ask or say. This way you will not forget when you are there. I tend to have that issue so I have to write things down so I remember to bring them up and tell the doctor the things that I wanted to say. The pain diary is a great idea. It's a shame that now a days, you have to be an advocate for yourself when it comes to health care. Do you have someone that can go with you to be your support and also help you remember what you want to say? That might be another idea. When I was still getting worker's comp benefits, my nurse case manager used to write a letter to the doctor of all the things that we wanted to address during that visit. She would give me a copy to take in and then would also give the nurse a copy so the doctor could look at it when he saw me. This way nothing was missed. Good luck to you on Monday!
