Other things that will help are having the dentist adjust your bite, wearing a night guard, anti inflammatories, physical therapy techniques, and ice packs. You shouldn't chew gum either if you have this. It will just cause the TMJ to flare up. TMJ is horrible. It can cause migraines and many other sever pain issues.
