The counter->balance for that is anti-depressants, like zoloft. " Hi , Thanks for the reply. I actually started getting the headaches long before I began taking daily pain medication (just vicoprofen). It was just after my first surgery. I have heard of rebound headaches, though. I'm sure I get those, too. The doctors have tried putting me on various daily medications to help prevent migraines, but if they work at all, it's only for a while. I have the same problem with medications that you take during a migraine. If they work, it's only for the first few times. If they don't work, I end up in the ER with an even more severe migraine. I don't even bother with migraine medication anymore. I just try to take my regular pain medication, but usually I end up vomiting too much to keep anything down for a few days. I'm going through the pain clinic process now and will probably ask if there's some other way to take medication during the migraines. I think all the pain I'm in is taking a huge toll on me. There a various types out there any prices to suit all needs. " Hi , I find that I get more migraines when I try to do anything more than I can handle. I haven't had physical therapy or massage therapy in a long time because all my back pain feels like it can't be touched from the outside, but I think I'll ask about it again to see if it makes a difference with the migraines. I'll try the massage chair, too. Thanks, Kate
