Guest guest
Just introducing myself. My name is Nicely. I'm 34 yrs old and was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis 13 years ago at the ripe old age of 21! I was in the Air Force at the time. I have not been medically followed since I was medically retired from the service in 1993. My wife has been on me about it for YEARS ! Well, Tomorrow I go to a consult with a local GI doc. HO-HUM. Wish me luck. PS. I've been lucky, until recently, controlling my UC; but I have no idea where I am with PSC Hi , Welcome to the group. I hope all goes well with your appt, it is a good idea to have it checked regularly as I'm sure you will now. Do you have to take URSO (actigall) for your PSC? if not you should ask the drs about that as it is really important that you take it as it helps to make the bile more watery and reduces the back logging of bile up into the liver, so lessening damage to the mucosa. Guest guest
Hi Denene, Welcome to the group. I'm so sorry you are in so much pain. I'm so glad you have a service dog to help you but I'm sorry your dog is in pain as well. We are neighbors of sorts, I live in Arkansas. I hope you got some sleep and look forward to getting to know you better. Take care, Caitlin Moderator Denene Harper wrote: I am married, I have a service dog that assist me but as of recently she hasn't been helping as much due to being diagnosed with hip dylpsia how ever it is spelled. Guest guest
Hi Denene and welcome to our family. I hope you find everything you need here. This is a wonderful group of people who even though they are in terrible pain most of the time are still willing and able to help others. I love this group so much. They have helped me through some terrible storms. I'm very sorry about your dog. That is so sad. Is there anything that the vet can do to help him? I hate being in pain myself but at least I have meds to help me. Does your dog have any meds to help him through the pain? I'm sorry I have a soft heart for animals and it just kills me to think that one is in pain. Love, Carol (OK) >Denene Harper wrote: Hi, My name is Denene and I am 43 years old and had chronic pain due to a back injury and other injuries for about a year now.
