Guest guest
Lorrie I dont know the answer to that question but I do know that fatty acids are necessary for repair of cells.i do believe I may have heard somewhere that certain toxins tend to hide in fatty tissue so it would follow that they would cling to fat in the process of detoxing , but that is just my best guess.Ifthe VCO upsets your stomach , perhaps trying a different source of fat would be more helpful, fish oil is a must anyways for reducing inflammation but also there is flax oil , borage oil etcwith some binders you can take food but less nutrients would be absorbed in some casesI think the timing of the binder is crucial with heavy metals as you take binder both before and after the detox agent.I do think the timing is critical for some of us,depending especially on what you are detoxing from. It is somewhat individual but it depends on the circulation process/digestive process ( ie how long it takes things to get from your stomach to the intestine) and how fast the toxins get to your intestines in your circulation processing by the liver and excreted to the intestines.According to the article the toxins must be caught by the binder in the upper intestinal tract , otherwise the toxins will recirculate. If such is true for metals i would think it holds true for other neurotoxins.Timing of taking all our supplements are difficult ,I know . .Sometimes you simply dont have the time to figure it all out.I always keep a container of supplements with me in my purse , so I cantake them if i need to go out.janRe: article on neurotoxins and detoxification/ Terry Posted by: "Lorrie Richter" lorrie_richter@... lorrie_richter Date: Sun Jul 29, 2012 11:15 pm ((PDT))Jan,I will admit that I didn't finish the article, as it was more than my brain could handle in one sitting, so please forgive me if the answer to my question was there. I was told that taking a tablespoon of a healthy fat, such as extra-virgin coconut oil, along with my binder would cause the toxins to form large molecules that would not be able to be re-absorbed through the intestinal wall due to their size. Do you know if this is true? The EVCO increases the nausea I already tend to get from my binder. Also, this article seems to indicate that the timing of the binder is very important. Is that the case for us as well? Or more specific to the metals? I have a hard time fitting everything in at specific times because it seems as though every type of vitamin, detoxer, and binder has to be taken certain amounts of time away from or with food, or even each other, and nothing can be taken near the binder. So I usually just end up fitting it in where i can, most often at bedtime. Thanks for the info.
