I loved the book when it came out. So, when it was made into a TV two part movie back in the mid 90's, I taped it. I faithfully tried to ditch the ads out of it, but of course, didn't quite succeed. It's much nicer watching it on DVD. It's so long though, that I have to take a few breaks during the viewing. The casting is great. King had an actual role in the show. He didn't just do a few second cameo, like he usually does with his movies. -- Lyndi I still haven't made it all the way through " War and Peace "
