Guest guest
has Osteogenesis Imperfecta type 3, the second to worst type (the worst is type 2....up until a couple of years ago, type 2 babies were so brittle that they didn't survive the birth). Most people with OI type 3 have severe scoliosis and hundreds of broken bones, and end being about 3 feet tall and use a wheelchair. A new treatment is changing that for new babies, but virtually all existing sufferers are like this. had an accident with his wheelchair where it tipped over and he broke a lot of bones, including his spine. Hi mother posts updates about once a month, and we must be due for one now. I'll keep you posted. Love Glenda millgate@...
