Guest guest
I'm wondering if any of you have experieced what has got to be the #1 argument trigger with Fada: ethnicity. He is mostly Irish and his wife is 100% Italian. He dislikes the Italian part of his children's heritage and faults them for embracing itdespite the fact that they are more Italian than anything else. When we learned to speak some Italian as adults to prepare for a trip to Italy, he went ballistic. His personality is to drink a lot and start fights and he enjoys sitting in bars with his friends and thinks he relating to them because of their Irish heritage. He's very narrow-minded. He recently started an argument because we do not seek out the Irish culture and festivities, never took a trip to Ireland, never visited an Irish club... Before we went NC, we had to end a visit simply because he was raging about this asking us how we thought it made him feel! How freaking ridiculous is that? Is this BPD typical? It sounds like a narcissistic tendency for sure. ~Elle
