On another note I am continueing to feel better, my morning walks yesterday and today were fun again and easy to do. The anxiety attacks are also reducing. I'm still waking up at least 3 times a night but am able to fall back to sleep within a half an hour. The night sweats have reduced also this morning I only felt a little warm like the sweats were going to begin but they never materialized. Sunday will be the end of my fourth week off zyprexa. >> ** Excellent, ! Thanks for the update. Keep me posted. We're here to help. I don't know if anyone has commented on your diet, so I will. While overall it's not bad, there's quite a bit of bread in it. 12 grain bread leads one to believe it is whole grain, but it isn't. The only thing that is whole grain is bread that states whole grain. Even if you were eating whole grain, your diet is really heavy on the bread. I'd replace some of this with whole grains like: Amaranth Barley Brown rice Bulgur (cracked wheat) Millet Oats Quinoa Spelt Wheat berries Wild rice These should be in their least processed form. For instance, oats should not be steel cut, but whole. They don't even look like we'reused to seeing oats when in their less processed form. I am partial to wild rice because it is actually a seed not a grain. You're light on vegetables. Cutting vegetables to lose weight is a really bad idea. First, vegetables are low in calories so tyou're not really cutting many calories by doing this. Secondly, they contain numerous nutrients and trace minerals you can't get elsewhere. I'd triple the amouint of vegetables you eat per meal . One head of broccoli should not be lasting 4 days. The cut should be in the bread, not the vegetables. It looks like you get no veg with lunch. Have you ever considered a large salad with leftover broccoli or other cooked veg and meat you cooked the night before with some lettuces and any other salad veg you may enjoy? I do this regularly. It's very filling and satisfying. I feel well-nourished after this. For salad dressing, try to avoid those with corn syrup and sugar in them. I don't know if this is as much of a problem where youlive as it is here in the U.S. where I live. If you're going to have sandwiches, can you add lettuce to them? Take care, . Thanks for the detailed report. It helps. Did I ask you what you take for supplements (sorry, there are so many new people over the last couple of weeks I'm getting a little confused, lol).
