Guest guest
Hello to everyone! I'm new to the group and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a 42 year old Mom, married to my best friend, and have two awesome talented boys, 16 and 7. My BPD story revolves around my NADA. Isn't that funny that it's the spanish word for 'nothing.' I find that rather amusing. Anyway, after spending my life trying to get along with her, I have finally found a peace after this last go round of her hysteria! Long story short: my NADA tried to contact me/reconcile through a family friend who happens to be a lawyer. He asked for details to substantiate some of my statements about physical abuse so for the first time in my 42 years I shared some things that my NADA had done. Of course she denied it all and told this friend that any reconciliation was off and it was entirely my fault. I'm NC at this point and guessing it will remain that way,...I'm through. I'm sure the whole story will come out as we talk and all. Like I said,...just saying hello and thanks for sharing. I've read quite a few posts and I swear it's like looking at my own life. It is such a relief to finally realize (and OWN it) that the chaos, punishment, insults, physical abuse, isolation and degradation I endured as a child is so very WRONG and it isn't my fault!!! Thanks and I look forward to being part of this group! Mercy
Guest guest
Hi Mercy Welcome to the group -- I'm sure you'll find much support and validation from being here, as we all have - Sorry your nada drug a family friend into her drama - - but looks like it backfired on her. You didn't start any of that -- she did. Sounds like it was time for it all to come out and for your healing to begin. She did you a favor! Blessings, AZClown New to Group - Hello! Hello to everyone!
