Guest guest
I also resorted to slapping my skin in hopes of sending a pain signal to my brain instead of an itch signal....which leads me to believe that those TENS units used to stop body pain should also be used to control itching....wonder if they have thought about that one yet. Hi , Your question about TENS and itching is a very good one. At the UK PSC support group meeting last July the same question was raised and Dr Chapman hadn't heard of it but said if someone wanted to try it and report back that could be interesting. I have a TENS machine which I have used when my back was bad but I haven't tried for the itching so far as it tends to be all over the place rather than in one or two places. I keep meaning to at least give it a try, I will try it and then let you folks know how things go. Has anyone else got a TENS machine they could try?
