RE: New to the group, and feeling like giving up/

Hi and welcome to the group. We all understand how you are

feeling so you are definitely not alone. The group is a wonderful bunch of

people who are here for you anytime.

It's hard to adjust to living a different life than what you are used to, but it

can be done. Please don't give up! Although I have been there before myself.

Some days are better than others. The thing that bothers me the most is not

being able to do things with my kids that I used to.

Please feel free to come here anytime to vent and get support. That is what we

all are here for. The wonderful thing with this group is we are a bunch of

people who also experience pain in some way everyday. We don't try to pretend

that we know how you feel, as we really do.

I can`t tell you much at this time because I`m having a

Love your yahoo name. It is such a burden to be in pain but the more active you

know you want to be, the greater the theft seems to be. I'm 52 and have been

carrying around the extra pain burden for too many years. The horrible thing is

that as we get older, it's so much heavier cause muscle mass declines and is

much harder to rebuild, not to mention the fatigue factor.

If not for the support of others who understand, I am not sure what state of

mind I would be in today. I knew I had to do something to change the course I

was on.

Welcome from me also. Iit is so interesting as I think you put it well

saying the " theft " of your active life as it is having it being taken

away and there is nothing you can do.

Ironic as it is, we all say the same thing with different words. I am

so thankful for this group and it has been a Godsend.
