Guest guest
Hello everybody, hope some are feeling better. Just wanted to let you know: I posted a few pictures from the C-Arm of the needle penatration of the cervical area, with and without a fusion, and a Lumbar one as well. One is a friend (male) the other is my spouse before and after the fusion of C-4,5,6,7, you can see the screws and bolts during his injection, and mine was the Nerve Root, missed though, C-2 was done and it was suppose to be C-4. The dark area you see just outside the reach of the needle, is the medication going in the space. Anyone who never saw their own, or is thinking about getting one through their pain management doctor, can take a look, to see exactly how it is done. You can ask for these pictures too, they will give them to you (one is usually in your chart) but they don't volunteer, you have to ask for it in most cases, and only when they use the C-arm (under fleuroscope). Best to ask before hand, physicians are in a hurry to leave afterwards. Have the best pain free week possible, Janet.
