Sharon, Vicki and Marcus:

Thanks for your responses! Thank you Sharon, for asking me to share my

story. It really was a horrible ordeal that I cannot afford to dwell on

often. Like I said, after all these years, it is still depressing.

Yes, no matter how " easy " our current AN surgeries go for us, it is still

a serious surgery and not to be taken lightly. I am looking forward to

further improvement of medical technology for the future, so that my next

AN removal will be even better! :o)

I saw a long lost cousin the other night. She was sharing some insight

with me, as she was hit by a semi as she was walking across the street

many years ago. She lives in constant pain daily from all the medical

problems that she received as a result of getting hit. A doctor told her

something years ago:

" Debbie, you have to stop trying so hard to be the Debbie that you used

to be before the accident. That is not going to happen. You have to

learn to be the Debbie that is here now. " I thanked her for sharing that

tidbit of information with me, because we can all learn from that

statement.

Best wishes to you all,

Sherry
