Guest guest
Moderator's note: Hi Jim, I'm glad you are a bit better. Does your insurance plan have a mail order program? Surely, there is a generic Lidocane patch, that you could have them send. My mail order insurance with Medco, is $35 for 3 months brand name medication, and $10 for 3 months. Time, should help heal your blisters too. What did your doctor say about the Shingles vaccine? Kaylene Hi eveyone. I just wanted to give a quick update on how things were going. I went to the doctor yesterday and the blisters have healed up real nice but the nerve pain is a diffrent story. I tried a few ideas from the group and my doctor agreed with them but they just was not enough to stop all the pain and itching. So yesterday he put my on some Lidocane 5mg patches to see if that would do the trick. So far they do seem to help with the nerve pain. My biggest problem is the dang cost of them. $45.00 for a months supply and thats with insurence. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with Lidocane patches and what there thoughts were on them. As I said they do seem to help but I just hate the cost if there were other options.
