Guest guest
My mother and I share a boxer and chihuahua. The boxer's name is Princess Gracie May and the chihuahua is Olivia. Gracie seems to know the days I feel the worst because those are the days she is the most gentle and quite with me. Usually standing on the edge of my chair wanting me to love on her and giving just as much love back. We just gave Gracie a new stuffed toy and her new game is to see how long the toy will hold up before she has the stuffing ripped out and scattered all over the living room. I still haven't heard anyting about the culture taken from the mysterious spot on the top of my head. It is still tender to the touch but not draining anything. When the culture was taken there was minimal drainage, but a soft, spongy area about 31/2 to 4 inches across that is still present. I think the hardest part of this whole situation is the not knowing part. As far as my pain is concerned, my doctor just increased the fentenyl up to 25 mcg/hour patch. It was just increased 3 days ago, but so far I have only had to take my breakthrough medication 4 times, which is a reduction in the number. I may talk to her about going to the 50 mcg patch and see if it takes away the need for breakthrough all together. Katrena in Kansas
