Guest guest
Welcome to all the new people. You have found a wonderful group of people. I am wishing for spring. We have had more cold and snowy weather here in Missouri than we have in the past couple of years. I am like a lot of people on here with the cold and snow. It increases my pain. I haven't had any relief from the constant pain from the weather for over a week now. We had 4 inches of snow the week before last. Then it rained and melted it so there's lots of moisture in the air. So, the combo of the cold and dampness, has made my lower back hurt constantly. I had a good day today finally, but now a new system is coming in tonight. So I am now back to my pain. We are under a winter storm warning for tomorrow. We are suppose to get ice and snow for the next two days. I am a bit stressed because my prescriptions from the pain clinic will be ready either tomorrow or the next day. I have to drive 30 miles to pick them up. I have enough Oxycontin and Soma to last through Tuesday. I have enough Percocet to last through Thursday. I am not worried about those, because if we get the bad weather, the roads should be cleared by then. The good thing is at least with having my Percocet, I won't have withdrawal if I can't get my prescriptions. I also thought if the roads are really bad maybe the pain clinic could call my PD and have him write them in this case. I know last time I went to get them, it was almost the same case and the nurse said that something could be worked out in this case. It would be so much easier if we could get our meds called into the pharmacy. We have the drug seekers to thank for this situation. I am wishing for spring it means relief from the pain. It also means that I will be able to start getting my patio ready for summer. I have a small garden plot that my sweet hubby gets ready for me. I have ordered my tomato and pepper plants for my homemade salsa. So he plants those for me and drives the stakes. So all I have to do it tie them up and prune the suckers off them. I have planters for the patio so I plant those as they are higher up and not as much work. I use to have flower beds and do the garden before CP. So he helps me so much and there are ways of enjoying doing what I use to do. Its just done a bit differently and not as much work. It will also be time for the hummers to return. We sit outside and watch them come to the feeders. They dart through our latticed covered patio. Then they land on the lattice that covers the sides. We sit there and watch them. It always brings a smile to my face watching them. It takes your mind off of the pain. Sorry that this is long but I just want the pain to go away. from Missouri
