Guest guest
Hello, I am new to this list, my name is Tymothy. I have a condition known as Sacral Agenesis, a rare disorder that effects the sacrum and (usually) lumbar vertebrae. Essentially i have a small sacrum and my lumbar is stenoting. So far the pain is on walking or standing in one place for a while (ten minutes), i have been looking at the drug Lyrica, and have been reading that many people on this list take it. I am curious of people's experiences with it, it's a difficult drug to nail down from the pharmaceutical information. Does it reduce pain (ie. analgesic)? Does it do anything else besides that? I am curious more from a personal perspective, as i'm a health care practitioner (acupuncturist with biomedical training), and have read their trials, but well, it's just a strange drug, but the only one of its kind. It's nice to be part of this group, i'm finding it very difficult to talk with people about my situation because people are generally so terrified of being uncomfortable, it's nice to have groups like this where other people know what you're going through and support you in whatever is happening.
