Guest guest
Barbara , I too have kept up with MMS and its new protocols.Basically adding in the little bit of baking soda eliminates its taste by making it less acidic. It also helps to eliminate the problems a few people were having with the results of its acidic nature. The small amount of baking soda raises the PH only by like 1 to 1.5 points making it easier on the body and we know that more alkaline is often better for the body to assimilate.MMS when made up is usually a PH of 4.0 - 4.5 .the small amount of baking soda raises it to about 5.0 ,If I remember correctly.Im sure that you could use a smaller amount of baking soda for a smaller dose of MMS after it is activated and water is added, but its very hard to find measuring spoons in smaller amounts.Perhaps in a place that sells chemicals for science experiments? Ive never seen a 1/16th teaspoon measure or a 1/32nd measuring spoon. If you find one, please let us know where you find itTake anything of an acid nature that bothers your stomach and add baking soda it will change the taste slightlyjan. Guest guest
jan, sounds good. may give it a try for taste. i think i don't have enough stomach acid so the extra i get with mms really isn't a problem. in fact, i've been taking hyd. cloric acid with meals. so, the only benefit is easier on the stomach and taste improvement, will think about this. thanks barbara Barbara , I too have kept up with MMS and its new protocols.Basically adding in the little bit of baking soda eliminates its taste by making it less acidic.
