Guest guest
Does that mean not using filtered water? Not sure what activated charcoal is, or if it is what is used in water filtersSue To: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Saturday, August 11, 2012 4:16 PM Subject: Per Dr. Cowden: - avoid activated charcoal & binders on his protocol Just a note on activated charcoal, which has been discussed at length recently, as a detox agent. According to Dr. Cowden, it should be avoided when using the NutraMedix herbs. Dr. Cowden states: "AVOID BINDERS SUCH AS ACTIVATED CHARCOAL & CALCIUM BENTONITE CLAY. Binders such as Activated Charcoal & Calcium Bentonite Clay should be avoided while using the Cowden Support Program. Activated Charcoal always binds the active ingredients that are in the herbal remedies and pharmaceuticals & makes them ineffective. They should only be considered on the rare occasion when you have been severely affected by a Herxheimer reaction that does not resolve with Burbur, Parsley, Pinella, or water." Guest guest
No, Sue. This info does not refer to water filtered with charcoal. Activated charcoal is a substance taken orally. It is used to molecularly bind to toxins in the body, so that they are rendered " inert " , and can then be eliminated through the body's evacuation systems, without further toxicity to the body. For more info, just google " activated charcoal + detox " , etc. - Jane > > Does that mean not using filtered water?
