Hi Jo Bob,

I'm sorry your family is weary of you because of the medications you have to

take. Most of my family is understanding. I do have a couple of family members

who do not really understand and always tell me that I should not be on all the

medications I am on and how the chronic pain isn't real and so on.

But, that is only a couple of family members. The rest of my family is

supportive and understanding. A few family members, it took a while for them to

believe me. And it also took other family members who had seen me and my pain

(my dad for example who had to take me to the ER because of pain one time) to

tell the others that it is real.

My hope is that the whole world will come to know that chronic pain is a real

thing and it's not always in the heads of those who have it. My hope is, also,

that the families of everyone here on this group, as well as others, will

understand and not judge.
