Guest guest
Anybody have book titles/authors that may help our recovery and educate others who are on the fence about engaging this process themselves? I know when I search for a lot of these medical terms I get discouraged, because while I have a BA, it was in the social sciences and medical terminology is horribly difficult for me to interpret. So, titles that are laymen-friendly would be ideal, but all titles are welcome. Here are a few I have sought out and liked so far, please share yours and maybe even share them with your psychiatrist (present it as a challenge if need be, I know mine takes in what I say whether or not he acts on it, and that is always a baby step start)? Sending you all continued health and the power of knowledge as strength, Here is my list: Mars and Venus Diet and Exercise Solution by Gray *this book really helps the layperson understand the link between LIFESTYLE and BRAIN CHEMISTRY. It is very simple to read, and interesting, and of course the authors are well known, which makes it easier to convince people to read them. **For those who don't read much, this one (and many others) are all available for download at audible.com ---for very reasonable prices.
