Guest guest
Anyone have experience with this protocol? Aside from herbs, doc Rx'd antiviral Lauricidin and antibiotic Doxycycline. Guest guest
We do not follow this protocol but do use Lauricdin and did herx on it briefly. It seems to have a major impact keeping our little guy well this year. Sent from my iPhone
Guest guest
I've tried Lauricidin, never tried antibiotics though. Be careful, it might cause huge herx, do not start them together! Though you might want to verify with you doctor. I'd suggest to start with Lauricidin and go VERY slowly. I've heard stories of people having VERY strong reactions to even 1 pellet of Lauricidin and they had to stay at that dose for extended period of time. General rule is to start very low and slow and if there is any reaction, not only " typical " herx, but if you get sick, then you should continue taking this dose until the reaction goes away (trying to support and help your body at the same time with detox), then wait couple days and then raise the dose slightly and see what happens. Hope other members will add their insights, Take care, Dina. > > Anyone have experience with this protocol? Aside from herbs, doc Rx'd antiviral Lauricidin and antibiotic Doxycycline. Guest guest
I use various. Supplements like Burbur from Nutramedix - it is really good, especially combined with Pinella and/or Parsley. Sometimes it's not enough, or I feel like a lot of bugs died in my GI, then Chlorella from BioPure is my next choice. Mega doses of Vit C (ARG, cassava based) always worked great for me, and it's very convenient, I used to always have few capsules with me, could even take some during work. But now I'm on Salt/S protocol and don't use Vit. C as detox helper any more. A lot of alkaline water with some extra electrolytes help as well. ANd I always make sure my bowels are moving and try to eat plenty of Fiber. SOmetimes I also use green clay in combination with New Sun's Fiber Cleanse (without psyllium). But what helps me a lot is Rife. I use it every night, at least 2-3 frequencies for overall health and/or detox and/or lymph cleanse, otherwise I don't feel good next day. Hope that helps, Dina. > > > > Anyone have experience with this protocol? Aside from herbs, doc Rx'd > antiviral Lauricidin and antibiotic Doxycycline. Guest guest
Fran, I did high dose doxy and didn't take a herx hit...probably hadnsome crappy moments, but helped my head pressure immensely. As for zhang, one down sie is corn and colored capsules. Artemesia made me feel like I had a flu for a few days but some can hardly tolerate a tinsy bit. If you feel ear pressure when doing artemesia STOP....havent encountered that x 4 people at high doses. HH makes me want to hurl....its ia absolutely nasty in taste for me but no one else here complained. HH takes out a lot so you could feel crappy, anxious. was great, Ai3 was great and the circulation one was good. No cure here due to mold. HTH....get his book. Guest guest
Wow! Thanks for that thorough answer Dina. I might try chlorella for starters since I am familiar with it. I give 1000mg Vit C. I also make alkaline water made from a Kangan filter. Maybe I will go back to epsom salt baths. Cheers.FranselSender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Mon, 21 Mar 2011 02:52:10 -0000To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Re: ZHANG Protocol for Lyme Treatment I use various. Guest guest
I have not used the Zhang protocol, but have used both his artemisiae and his HH extensively. These were probably some of the best products we have used. We followed another doctors protocol and used these together with antibiotics, antiprotozoals and herbs together. I took artemisiae 6 days a week, starting with a 1/8 of a cap twice daily and then doubling the dose every other day until I was at 1 capsule. After a couple of weeks I used 2 caps, twice daily and then worked up to 3 caps twice daily. I held at this for 5 months. I tried to follow a similiar protocol for bartonella using HH but could never get past 1 capsule. I now believe that bartonella was so difficult for us to treat b/c I was high in strep. Since treating strep, I feel that I am ready to go back to bartonella. So, if treating bartonella makes you miserable and cry everyday, consider backing off and going after strep first. Caryn > > Hey , you are absolutely right about the coloring - I don't know why they bothered to put color in the caps. My son is also allergic to corn and ZHANG uses gelatin. Is gelatin bad? My son is on Allicin, HH2, R5081, Iodine, Vit D, and recently prescribed with Lauricidin and Doxy. Have not started the last 2. I feel like calling my doctor to ask if I should put my son on Diflucan while on them for yeast build up. Great to be able to compare notes. Guest guest
Are you sure that strep is not a factor? Nystatin is cultured on a strep see http://www.rxlist.com/nystatin-oral-suspension-drug.htm My daughter's anti-dnase B did not come down until we discontinued this med. Are you using the pure powder? - other forms have additives that may be contributing to his distress. > > > > Hey , you are absolutely right about the coloring - I don't know why they bothered to put color in the caps.
