Yesterday, for the first time in a long time, I was craving a candy bar. I ate 1/2 of a Snickers bar. Two hrs later, bg's were 98. For breakfast today I had 1 egg, 2 slices of bacon and a large serving of tater tots and 3 cups of coffee with FF milk (most of the time this is my weekend breakfast). Two hrs later bg's were 108 (and without any exercise.) Eunice

Guest guest
Nah never got a chance to and before you go to clapping - I decided to get me some Churches Chicken for a 'snack' well I was doing fine UNTIL I saw the fries were fresh!!! and someone in front of me ordered Strawberry soda. So I drank half the soda which was 10ozs. and I ate a small fry and two chicken wings - 228 GOOD GRIEF!!! I went and walked down the block. Should have done that BEFORE I tested. But I try. Guest guest
As I have said many times before, I think the truth lies > somewhere between low carb and low fat diets. Both are fanatical and I think > moderation is where it is at. > (wsm311@a...) , once again, I couldn't agree more. That's exactly what I'm doing, and it's what makes the most sense to me. Guest guest
You are so lucky. If I had eaten that many carbs my BS would be at least 300 without meds and 250 with meds. When you lost weight, you probably don't have any fat inside of your organs. That is why I want to get to a normal weight. They say you may be able to eat alot more carbs.
