Link below on interesting documentary on the many factors contributing to the rise of allergies and asthma: genetics, environmental pollution/contaminants, immune system involvement, stress factors, etc.  It's refreshing to see scientists and doctors admitting to the causal relationships of many factors and not just dismissing it and actually confessing that they have no clue.  As one researcher stated in the end, that the many factors have come together to create the " perfect storm " that is plaguing us to today.  The videos are played off of You Tube, but if you view the BBC film through the site Top Documentary Films, the site will queue all four parts off of You Tube together - 1 hr of play.
