Do you all see the yeast flare with the bacterial flare? I am guessing their is

a correlation. We used GSE and at first it worked great, but he became

resistant to it. We use Syntol probiotics which has a " gentle yeast cleanse " .

I haven't seen any of the yeasty behaviors, but he has bad candida rashes in his

groin area, both up the front and back. Even topicaly applied GSE as a rinse

quit working so we had to get some prescription creams.

We started augmentin on Saturday night and the vertical streak rash was gone on

the second day. Also the candida rash is almost gone which is funny, because I

always hear that antibiotics make yeast worse. They only seem to help my son

with his yeast problems. After two days on the augmentin, he is starting to eat

well again, brushing his teeth better and verbalizing everything. The only

concern is that he had some blood in his stool. This is a first! I sent photos

to his doctor and she told me to stand by and wait for the next stool and see

what happens.....
