Guest guest Posted August 19, 2011 Report Share Posted August 19, 2011 I have struggled with this aspect of defusion from the beginning. I would sometimes get some temporary relief. But I work in a hostile innviornment where my co workers often treat me as if my negative beliefs are true. In other words, my negative beliefs would be reinforced by other people. Accepting that no one likes you, then going someplace where people shun you can be depressing. What I have done to cope is, when I'm in situations where my anxieties and negative beliefs come up, I concentrate on my values.
