Guest guest
I would be interested in knowing of any Lyme literate doctors in the states who are willing to test and treat long distance. I have to pay for all tests, treatments, Meds out of pocket so traveling is an additional expense making this prohibitive If anyone knows of any, please contact me off list. ThanksMicheleSent from my iPhone Heidi, We live in Portugal and I have been making contacts with specialists in the states to treat us from afar. I have been given several referels from members on this list. I did take my son to the GP today to request an anitbiotic and some topical antifungal creams. Both the oral symptoms and candida are out of control not only causing discomfort, but preventing him from eating for about 4 days now. We took a prescription for augmentin because it has helped with the oral and sensory issues in the past. I am concerned because I was trying to keep him off antibiotics for the next few weeks so I can get some blood work done. Looks like that is not going to happen. Is it possible that we could still do the provocation tests? I am reading that Bartonella is not killed by augmentin anyway.... As always, thanks for your insight!
