Guest guest Posted August 1, 2011 Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 In the book " Get out of your Head " , it says to repeat your negative thought to yourself using differan voices. The way I understand it, this is to realize its just a thought that you have some power over . Yet,I have always felt you keep on repeating negative thoughts you believe them. Kind of like postive affirmations but in reverse. 's work says to question whether the thought is really true. I find the two ideas coflicting.
