Guest guest
Is anyone using their D Lactate formula? Company is avoiding L Acidophilus due to lactose forming so they are using a blend of lactobacilus and bifido. We are using child dosage right now but maybe not enough support. Anyone recommend this? Guest guest
Fransel, My son is almost 6 years old and weights 36 pounds (he is very very slim as you can tell, despite all my attempts to feed him healthy and giving him good fats whenever possible). I give him 3 small scoops of the Custom Probiotics in the morning and the same amount before going to bed. To find out what is the correct dosage for your son simply build up slowly - start from 1 small scoop only and every few days increase a little until you notice regular and well formed BM and the yeasty behaviour completely gone - at least in our case this is how I found what would be the correct dosage. I forgot to mention that I give also to my son fermented coconut kefir (I make it with the BED starter) and this was big part of helping putting his yeast problem under control,so I highly recommend it. Guest guest
Fransel, My son didn't have any aggressive behavior but he had the yeasty giggling, waking up at night and shorter attention span. All that got better, but we still have our ups and downs and long long ways from recovery. For now however seems the yeast is under control. My son has Lyme (although supposadly is under control as per our latest ART testing), co-infections, PANDAS, still some parasites left, although we went through the anti-parasite protocol (with prescription meds) lots of issues as you can tell. He is still non-verbal and for now this is our biggest issue. We saw the most noticeable positive difference when we killed the parasites, otherwise my son is very slow responder to almost non-responder to the things we have done in the past (sequential homeopathy for 1.6 years, some DAN, diets-BED, GAPS, currently LOD, acupuncture, chiropractic, osteopathy). Honestly since we are doing Dr. K's protocol for the first time I see any positive changes, although still very slow, I wish things were happening faster. About the coconut kefir - you are right, lots of starters have the streptococcus in them. The BED starter however doesn't have any strep strains, so that's why this is the only starter I trust and have been using for the last 1 year. You can also do fermented veggies without using any starter - simply add some salt and tiny bit sugar and wait until they are fermented. I can send you the recipe off-line if you want. Personally I have done the fermented veggies only from the starter from the BED (again - no streptococcus strains), but I know people who do it without adding anything else, just the waiting time is much longer, I think a month, as compared with the starter - only for 5-7 days. HTH, Krassi > > Krassi > Did your son have aggressive behaviors? Was yeast the culprit or strep or lyme & co? I am going to look at coconut kefir. I hope it is not hard to do like the yogurt. Thanks. > Fransel >
Guest guest
This is helpful info Krassie. Yes please send me your recipes when you have the time. I am not familiar with the BED starter so I need to learn how to work this. I am going to slightly increase his custom probiotic child dose from 1 cap to 1-1/2 going really slow. So much to try and hoping behaviors don't prevent us from pushing biomeds. Thank you again.FranselSender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Tue, 10 May 2011 03:41:25 -0000To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Re: Custom Probiotics Fransel,My son didn't have any aggressive behavior but he had the yeasty giggling, waking up at night and shorter attention span.
