Hello I am totally confused now. Seems like there are so many angles to look at. Is there a test to find out if my son has toxic metabolites of tryotophan? Is that seen from an organic acids test? We had this test done using urine not blood. Thank you for sharing what you know. My son shows toxic metabolites of tryptophan in his urine, and that may explain the aggression and violence we saw when he had anything related. There is a homeopathic called indole, which causes the body to excrete excess indoles. Some of the key indicators for using it are: constant motion of the fingers and feet, a raised red/pink rash on the cheeks, and trouble with getting up in the morning. His problem was gut related, and using the indole while getting rid of some of the nasty gut bugs he had really changed his violent tendencies. Please not that you can be deficient in the amino acid tryptophan, yet make toxic compounds fromit, leading to outbursts and "seizure like" behavior. Hope this helpsJeanSubject: Re: Aggression - Valium alternativeTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Sunday, May 8, 2011, 4:36 PM Hi Fransel;I am so sorry to hear about your day! I have totally been in the same situation andthe poster child for success with dietary intervention, but I'm sure she is healthier from her organic, free range, GFCFSF sugar free etc etc diet. I am praying to meet someone who can competently help our daughter without medication, and without further "healing regressions" - so done with those!! Kim >> Dear Kim > I am crying while reading your post. Don't take the risperidal as it will create greater anxiety and increased violence in your child. I went through hell this morning as my son decided to ruin mother's day for the family. He tore up the card and threw objects in his room - tore magazines and ate the paper. He was so aggressive. The trigger may be a new mood supplement (valerian leaf extract) which is a natural valium. This morning was the third dose and it looks like it is not working. My husband thinks we should give it a second chance.> I just gave him Sonne #7 detox for the first time. He is alone in his room now. We are staying away from him until it is safe. It's a wait and see.> Fransel> > Aggression - Valium alternative> > Hi all;> > Fransel, I empathize with what you are going through! My daughter is also very aggressive and has extreme sound sensitivity as well. We are in crisis with her again currently as the aggression has increased and she is throwing furniture and anything she can get her hands on AT us... she used to just throw stuff at the walls :( > > I am also trying to figure out how to calm her down ASAP as the whole family has to walk on eggshells not to set her off. I have two other children and they can't talk, or even be in her sight when she's around. I thank all the people who have posted such wonderful helpful information. >
