Guest guest
I think a combo approach probably works the best..... Subject: treating lyme and co-infections with homeopathic remediesTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Thursday, May 5, 2011, 10:07 AM Hi, does anyone have experience treating lyme and co-infections with homeopathic remedies? If so, please email me and share your experience. I suspect lyme and co-infections in my 3 year old son with ASD, but I also suspect strep. I have an appointment via skype with Lempke, but not sure if I should follow through or actually bring my son to see an LLMD in the US. Thanks!Kari
Guest guest
Personally I would not use homeopathy to try and treat lyme. I have yet to hear of even one successful case study. But then its hard to cure anything with just 100% pure water! On the other hand the salt/c regimen has been reported by many to help them. My wife included! www.lyme-resource.com You can lead a person to a fact, but you can't make them think! - > treating lyme > and co-infections with homeopathic remedies > > Hi, does anyone have experience treating lyme and > co-infections with homeopathic remedies? Guest guest
The recovering blog says that homeopathy with Pierre Fontaine was the key to her son's recovery. The mother tried about everything under the son through the years as recorded in her chronicles. I don't think the lyme and co. angle was ever explored, though.http://recoveringnicholas.com/tag/pierre-fontaineBest Wishes,From: kari To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Sent: Thu, May 5, 2011 6:07:36 AMSubject: treating lyme and co-infections with homeopathic remedies Hi, does anyone have experience treating lyme and co-infections with homeopathic remedies? Guest guest
Some insight into homeopathy. There are several " energized " remedies out there, Bach, Nutramedix and then homeopathy. Each created and work a different way, but all use more energy then whole herbs. With homeopathy, there is a wide variance of how to implement it. You have the weak potencies and the strong ones, the single ones and the formula ones. The most likely predictor of results with homeopathy is the practitioner. It relies heavily on the practitioner's knowledge. Some that do homeopathy, mix it with other treatments, and some strictly only use homeopathy. With homeopathy, when using a real homeopath, which often has even more college and training than an MD, the remedy is often not chosen by the diagnosis, but rather it is chosen based upon the whole person (personality, symptoms, experiences). So, when using homeopathy, it is complex. Just sharing because I know that homeopathy is a very different way of treating, and it can be difficult to learn about it via Googling. No, I have not seen people post successfully ridding Lyme via only homeopathy, but I do feel it's very possible. Samento is widely used for Lyme, and it's energized. I haven't seen people say that they have tried homeopathy for Lyme, so this is why we can't know if it will work or not. But, the view a typical homeopath would probably take on an ill person, is that they do have chronic infections like Lyme, and that by re-balancing them through homeopathy, they will learn to keep their infections under control. I think that with homeopathy, the body still has to heal, still has to rid itself of toxins and pathogens, re-nourish cells, etc. So, what I have seen is that it takes a while to heal via homeopthy or another route, no matter the condition. I am guessing that homeopathy can make people well if it's not a strong genetic cause, they have a great practitioner, and patience. It's not faster, generally speaking, but may be cheaper. On that note, I recently obtained a cold, and have taken lots of things for it, which didn't work. Finally, I took a homeopathic formula for colds, and it is working wonderfully. Regaining health nowadays can be a real battle. If you Google, Dr. K's ideas on autism, strep and Lyme, you will see several notes on homeopathic formulas he likes to use.
