pseudomonas infection during pregnancy .. could this be the problem

Hi All,

I was looking at the pregnancy and noticed that the UTI infection that I had was pseudomonas at 14weeks.

I was outside the country and was treated with 10 day of antibiotics (ciprofloxacin).

Was undergoing a fertility treatment. Had appendectomy at 10weeks.

Is there a chance that he could have contracted the bacteria during pregnancy?

I believe in the US, they admit in the hospital and give iv antibiotics for a couple of days.

Organic acid test done in 2009 said he could have sepsis. His LDH was also high at that time.

Just thought of letting you know.
