I had an interesting expeirence last night. My daughter and i started treatmetn for Lyme w one of best known LLMDs in N CA. Just completed first three weeks on Zythromicine.. yesterday had an IV with taurine, vit C, glutothione... and you know what.. after the IV i felt deeply cold.. needed to stay in a hot car for a good hour to feel better.. and later that day started having a mild tic ... as a student of Chinese medicine.. it is actually shocking to me how this western medicine heals with one hand and destroys with the other: It is so obvious... In TCM antibiotics are coonsodered COLD. ( cold is one of pathenogenic factors).. the IV FELT COLD..cold congeles blood ( blood as chinese concept rather than red liquid) and causes WIND , expression of wind is tic. Further more, TCM practitioners diagnose by the tounge.

I looked at my tounge .. after the antibiotic treatmetn.. nearly faaited: all over little cracks that were not there before.. antibiotics at hi doeses.. caused a massive Yin defficnecy.. - Yin is prescious substance if one wants to be healthy.. basically one has to support hormones really well while on these rough treatments.. My two wonderful young male doctors , that do not own a pair of ovaries between them have no idea... :(( My daughter has just started antibiotics as well, i am glad i was "western dr guinipig" so i shall get a support of acupuncture and personal well balanced formula of chinese herbs for her.. wow.olga
