Guest guest
Well, this child has been evolving well, he was already using naltrexone for 3 mos when we started the valacyclovir. Since we started the antiviral, his speech climbed from 20 words to almost 100, is reading and writing age appropriate, having much more eye contact and imaginative play. His mom called me a couple of days ago to tell me he was watching tv and someone started to use a toy doctor-set. He had one in the closet, unoped, since 2 years ago. He ran to his mom and said; "mom l have a doctor set too, give it to me and come, let's play doctor".... Well, this is pretty amazing to me, do you agree? For undesirable effects, he has only showed some hyperactivity. Lucky mom, uh? They are one of those parents who first of all, chelated the child intensively.... Non-stop for 1.5 yrs, DAN protocol, ca-edta. Etc. Shanti, l checked my notes, when we were chelating, we started using CA-EDTA5mg/kg of body weight. We climbed to 15/mg/kg by session 7. In this little friend's case, they used as high as 30mg/kg at the very end of chelation. Guest guest
Yes, lucky mom indeed! I think I would fall over if my child all of a sudden had success with a treatment. Thanks so much for sharing his gains Isa. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Kim > > > > > > > > > > > I know some people will hate me for saying this but you may have to consider a stronger med until you can get to the bottom of her immune problems as a stopgap measure so you can reduce the suffering of your family and child who are in crisis. Guest guest
You are welcome Kim! I think your child will improve, there comes a point, where we moms think nothing is working, but actually with every treatment we are peeling a layer of the problem, even when we don't see any results. I pray for you and for all of us, that God lead us to the specific treatment that will bring it all out, thats our hope, right? So while there is life, we shall not lose hope, we are to continue praying and trying....do we have somewhere else to go away from this major purpose???? Most of us don't. If someone does, l don't criticize, l don't point my finger, only the person " wearing the shoes" knows where it hurts and what he/she is able or not able to do, willing of not willing to do, every person has a life of its own. This being said, please know you are not alone, you are on the right place where a bunch of knowledgeable parents is ready to give you support and good advice. Kim, have you ever used a slow-low dose of natural anti-infectious treatments like nutramedix??? Or Quintessence from Bio-pure???? I was also reading a bit about your difficulties and there seems to be concept that some of this behaviours are associated with low serotonin/oxitocin levels, have you tried any of this treatments?? l am no expert, just a warrior mom trying to rescue my boy, help others a little, a mom learning everyday and swimming against the current, like all of us, so l just share my humble advice and point of view. I really would love to be more help, your situation is particullarly difficult due to the situations you have informed on this board, thank you for opening your heart and for trusting us with such details of your daily life. I have been a member of this board for 4 years now, attended the "Roads to Recovery" Congress in Arizona 3 years ago, the figure of Heidi starting her presentation with the words: "without faith, we can't do nothing" is really vivid in my head and heart, l confirm everyday how right she was by making this statement. When l lose my faith, everything seems dark, when l am centered, even the slightest glimpse of a positive response is enough to keep me going through the day. We moms MUST keep believin', try to stay calmed, our children resonate in our own vibration and they are reaching at us for help, we are their closest aide. This doesn't mean spoiling a child, letting them do at will, (they are intelligent and try to manipulate us like every child), but setting proper limits and loving discipline, knowing our self conciousness will make them feel safe and secure. Now l am rambling....trying to make a point after having a difficult week too, but ready to believe everything will be better for us in a future.Love to all of you my friends, l admire you all for not giving up on this fight. Thank you for helping me so much and giving me a place where l can let my heart run free without fear of prejudice. Guest guest
Aw, thanks so much for your words of encouragement Isa! I am really struggling for strength right now so your message is perfect Yes, once I get my child stabilized, and I have a chance to gain some of my strength back I will be looking at starting the next treatment. We've been in crisis for over a month and it has taken every ounce of my strength to just get up in the morning... I'm sure we all have those days Love right back to you - every Mom/parent on this courageous fight is inspiration to me!
