Really appreciate this question and comments.

I'm a novice, but my guess is the answer to your question is as long as the

moment in front of you asks for.

Put another way, how does: " To not work too hard " = " To not work hard enough " ?

peace,

core process to use for panic attacks. See chapter 11, The Struggle Switch,

especially the last 5 paragraphs and chapter 20, If You're Breathing, You're

Alive. I would try " Notice Five Things " as well, in chapter 17, page 129 in my

version.

off the plane before it took off because I was so scared of having a panic

attack on the plane, and being trapped. This was the second panic attack I had

that week, with the first being the first one ever. Which was initiated from my

father dying unexpectedly from a heart condition/attack, and me becoming super

focused and aware of my heart, and it snowballed.

Also to add: I've had many versions of throwing up and hiding in my closet and

my guess is we all have if we look closely enough. And for me it's more a matter

of coming to hold this fear, this pain in a way that is not like beating up or

brute force at all, and not like making excuses or running away either. Rather

listening for once, as Steve mentioned.

Ah, listening!

Honoring, giving voice, holding lovingly, and yes, guiding through gently,

here's really all it takes, just step here, and take the next step and really

that's all there is to it..and I'm here with you.
