Can you get a 3rd opinion and see which uro s/he agrees with? Having gone

through the augment myself, I wouldn't want to go through the bladderneck, only

to find out that I need yet another surgery. But that's just me. Like I said,

kids are resilient.

*My son is 10 and he had bladder augment, and mitrofanoff at the same time.(

also the MACE) The urologist was planning on doing the bladder neck sling

also , but when he got " in there " he tested it and it was fine( tight

enough, did not leak) so he did not do anything to it.*

Thank you, both. That's how I feel. The first surgery will be hard enough, I'd

hate to go back for another!

We think we'll try Boston Childrens' for a third opinion. Anyone have any

recommendations?
