Guest guest
-- with so many of us on this group I sometimes get a bit mixed up about who has done what, etc so I apologize if this has been mentioned. Have you had an MRI of your brain and your whole spine? If not, I am wondering if you can get someone to order these for you asap. And like mentioned, call and see if you can get on a cancellation list -- from my experience physicians usually have one but don't offer it up unless you specifically ask. This morning I woke up at 5am and I was not able to bend both arms, or even move them and my left hand was totally numb. I took 1/2 valium and no result. Sitting here for an hour moving arms and fingers- all numb. I just took another full dose and it seems to have helped a bit. The hand numbness is nothing new really(just never this severe), I get it all the time, multiple times a day in fact. But the pain has never been there, when I touch the area it feels like it's bruised. I am seeing a neuromuscular physician in April. Any thoughts?! __________________________________________________________ 8:00? 8:25? 8:40? Find a flick in no time with the Yahoo! Guest guest
Ladies, The neuromuscular guy I am seeing deals with muscle and nerve disorders. He is a specialist in autoimmune and severe muscular issues. It was super hard to get in since he is apparently treating only severe cases. I had to explain that I get that TCS is different BUT these issues do not seem to be TC related (according to Dr. Frim also) I am on cancellation list already, the original wait time was 6 months! I have had full spinal and brain MRI before my surgery and am having a new full spine the 17th, so next week. The numbness lasted until 2pm, but I am unable to remove my arms without pain. Will update both of you and let you know what the verdict is Dee if I find anything out when I see Dr. Frim will e-mail you! I am so mad because this is so disruptive! If I take a full valium I am out cold (on 5mg!) And how do I go to work etc!!!
