Hi,

I am wondering if you guys can help me get clear about something.

I have been very busy of late juggling family, work, home, etc. Things have been

pretty stressful just running a busy home.

Next year I am thinking of taking a huge leap by flying to Italy to visit my son

at Uni.At the moment the chess peices are all over the place coming up with all

sorts of stuff. 'What if you freak out....

'This is a step too far'.....' If you fail you'll let everyone down. 'If you

back out you'll let everyone down'......get the picture?

This is adding to my general stress and I am worried about my blood pressure!

Am I holding this as a value too tightly? What is the value? Exploration and

excitement. Fun and Expansion. Showing my daughter another culture,

participating fully in the lives of my children. Plus I have always wanted to go

to Italy! ( They seem to hold ACT conferences there a lot - why is that?)

So what I am asking is - do you think I am bashing myself over the head with

this value., holding it too tightly ( and how do you know if a value is held too

tight?) - if it is causing me a lot of stress. Or should I just expect that

stress goes with the territory and get on with it - adding to an already loaded

situation.

Also I don't have a lot of time to practice 'smaller steps' so it is just a case

of to leap or not to leap - that is the question! Will it tip me over the edge?

Any thoughts appreciated

Simone
