Guest guest
Fransel, The butter I use is from organic raw cream (I buy the cream from a local farmer) and make the cultured the butter at home which we all enjoy and love. There is casein in the butter but neither of my boys show any bad reaction to it and it could be because it is raw and cultured. Many people believe that pasteurization is what causes problems, not the actual natural product. My son also drink goat milk and goat yogurt and does not react to it. He also have organic eggs, meat with the fat and chicken, everything in moderation and alternating as well. Avocado is also a good source of glutathione and have very good fat as well as coconut oil. If your son does not like avocado perhaps you can make milkshake to disguise it. I use coconut milk to make milkshake. I normally buy the fresh coconuts for the water and use the flesh to make the milk. I hope this help, but if you have any question please don't hesitate to ask. Guest guest
Fransel, Butter is virtually casein free, it should be just fine to use unless you have an anaphylactic allergy to dairy. I avoided everything dairy for years with my son due to autism and then learned about the benefits of raw butter. When I ask my son's doctor, he amazed me by telling me butter is fine to use and has been all along, geee..... Long story short, my son has also done very well on raw organic butter. His cholesterol used to be low but now it is pretty high in his blood without any supplementation. His new doctor asked us a few times if we were supplementing but all we are doing is raw goat dairy and organic meats, not removing the fat. Yes, buy organic meats and make your own broths, etc but just don't remove the fat. Raw dairy such as the butter mentioned is also excellent. Other good fats are coconut oil, ghee like you mentioned and yes avocados are high in fat as well. Hope things are looking up, Eva > > > > > > Very kind of you to share your mom's recipes, Karla.
