Guest guest
Thanks for the good info Rita and ! Not sure why it hadn't ever occurred to me to spray on epsom salt, etc. I feel much better about letting him go in the pool now. sorry to hijack the magnesium post..take care~To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Sent: Mon, June 13, 2011 3:08:50 PMSubject: Re: ? Magnesium: too little info - We've used Epsom salts in water -as much as will stay in solution. A camper one year whose mother said she'd never been able to swim because of the chlorine did fine. We've also tried the magnesium chloride here http://www.swansonvitamins.com/Search?keyword=magnesium+chloride+spray & doSearch=true & ntt=magnesium%2Bchloride & n=0 & ntk=Level1 It leaves a slight sting but seems to saturate like the ES. Guest guest
Hi, i am also a swimmer..so youre saying that spraying the magnesium helps to counteract the effects of chlorine Also, is this spray kind of sticky? thanks! Guest guest
In addition to the Magnesium - or Espon salt baths. The chorinated pools are hard on the thyroid as well, so you may need to use some idoine to balance the thyroid as well. > > > > > > > > From what I have read, topical magnesium is the magnesium of choice, as > > > > long as it's a good brand (without too much junk). Guest guest
AllieIodine is supposed to be well absorbed when applied to foot soles and optimal, when nebulized. Do you know which one of this two options might work best after using the pool?? Or for mid-term supplementation to help thyroid function? I want to get my kid to swimming lessons too, but l have been quite chicken due to how dirty pools are...in every sense. TY!!IsaEnviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de TelcelSender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Tue, 14 Jun 2011 03:25:14 -0000To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Re: chlorine- epsoms In addition to the Magnesium - or Espon salt baths. The chorinated pools are hard on the thyroid as well, so you may need to use some idoineto balance the thyroid as well. > > > >> > > > From what I have read, topical magnesium is the magnesium of choice, as > > > > long as it's a good brand (without too much junk). Guest guest
I have been taking prolamine iodine from standard process. I think as much as i take, the chlorine displaces it. When i do an iodine patch it absorbs very quickly. the nebulized sounds awesome. Misty Re: chlorine- epsoms In addition to the Magnesium - or Espon salt baths. Guest guest
does magnesium help displace chlroine? Re: chlorine- epsoms In addition to the Magnesium - or Espon salt baths. Guest guest
I use the Lugol's liquid thyroid that you rub on the skin. After visiting the local chlorinated water park, my daily dose absorbed much quicker than usual which means my body wanted it more than usual. Guest guest
I don't know. I could order it the next time I am out of Lugol's, try it and see if I notice a difference. Without my iodine, I am very tired.
