Guest guest
Thanks, that is really helpful. My three year old is happier, has started dancing, has better eye contact, more language attempts, more interaction, better attention, reduced stimming, improved appetite, however he has started tantruming. We are also still waiting to see things like responding to his name and following directions. We are also still on a pretty small dose because of seizure medication. It's great to hear when something is having such a big, positive impact! Then back in the classroom he threw objects and kicked staff just because he was told to re-staple his artwork. It may be a die off from pathogens. He is not on herbs or ABX yet. Only thing different is a slight increase in custom probiotics d lactate. We will try 5HTP 50mg this afternoon. I want to ask about zeolite - this is a binder like Sonne's #7 right? I see it is available in capsule form from nutramedix. Is this the one I should get for mopping up in lieu of charcoal? Tks to all. > > > > > >> Fransel > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
It's typical to get improvements mixed with regressions. This is described as die-off, healing crisis or some other phrase. Either way, it's typical for kids to fluctuate in symptoms. Guest guest
Has he ever had a neurology work up? Violence and aggression can be linked to unusual activity, meaning subclinical seizures, in the temporal lobes. For more info: http://www.amenclinics.com/brain-science/cool-brain-science/a-crash-course-in-ne\ uroscience/temporal-lobes/ It maps in my son. He has right temporal lobe and right front issues left over from plagiocephaly and has " unusual activity " and absence seizures. His behavior when his meds aren't targetted is definitely aggressive. (I'm waiting for the window repair guy as I type to replace a window my kid broke when he threw a sippy cup in rage. And when it was over he didn't even realize he'd done it.)
