Guest guest
Does anyone know how long until you can retest through IGeneX? Our son had a positive IgG Western Blot but not positive for the IgM. New Clean Results for Me! Back in the fall, I tested positive for Band 41 IGG and Band 23 IGM. I didn't have any clinical symptoms, but I did 6 weeks of roxithromycin to play it safe. Today, I got a clean WB on the IGG and the IGM. Surprisingly, Band 41 was negative for both! So, either my immune system knocked it out or the roxy took care of the borrelia. In any event, I'm ecstatic. Now, if only my wife and child could beat this thing, too...
Guest guest
, Be sure and retest in 6 months. Lyme has a number of life stages. Two of them can make them invisible to the immune system. L-form and Cyst. They can lie dormant for many years. One report shown cysts were still viable after a 4 year incubation. My wife also thought she had licked them early on. But the recheck at 6 months showed a flare-up. Be happy its gone for sure, but also be vigilant in rechecking! www.lyme-resource.comYou can lead a person to a fact, but you can't make them think! - From: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism [mailto:BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism ] On Behalf Of MandichSent: Thursday, June 02, 2011 3:59 PMTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Yes! Guest guest
Just to let you know, the knowledgeable docs are more likely to go by symptoms. So if you are feeling good, great! But, keep your notes on what you did to gain back your health because, sadly, there are lots of relapse reports. Love and prayers, Heidi N > > , > > Be sure and retest in 6 months.
