Guest guest
Hi Fransel; I'm sorry to hear about your son - I know what you are going through! I am waiting to see what the school board will decide re my daughter's aggression. All I can think about is what could have happened if she would have grabbed another child's throat and tried to strangle them! I've never tried low oxalate diet. Her diet is so limited right now due to GFCFSF no sugar, no preservatives, plus we've taken out a whole list of foods she is allergic to... We did SCD for 9 months and there was no change. I hate autism. Kim > > Hi Kim > Today was a bad day for my son. He aggressed in school and now will need to be moved to another school. What diet do you have? My son is on SCD and oxalates messed him up. He has behaviors as result of oxalate dumping. Are you a member of yahoo group trying low oxalates.com? I have learned that my son may be suffering from KPU and will benefit from L Arginine, P5P, high dose zinc. It's a mess here right now. > Fransel > > Please help > > Hi All; > > My eldest daughter is going nuts. Attacking me and throwing furniture... Does anyone have any suggestion of how much calming supp to give her to essentially sedate her asap? > > Here are the calming supps I have on hand: > GABA > 5 HTP > Inositol > L-theanine > Magnesium citrate > Travacor (calming supp) > Bach's rescue remedy > Kavinace (GABA derivative, also calming) > > Any suggestions appreciated... > > She attacked her E.A (educational assistant here in Canada) today. Grabbed her by the throat and wouldn't let go. She was set off by the sound of my 4 year old's voice - he also attends the same school. E.A went to the doctor and has bruising, is traumatized. I'm so upset. > > I will have to put her on risperidol - she is attacking everyone/thing. I am afraid of what is going to happen with the school board etc. I have been resisting meds for over 4 years (when the aggression started to escalate). Very upsetting. Thanks for letting me vent. > > Kim >
