Guest guest
Question to the group: I live in a really old home (over 100 years old). It's great and has a lot of charm, but I am worried that their are toxins like lead in this home that is slowing my son and wife's recovery. We are considering moving for this reason. Does anyone have any information about toxins such as lead dust in the air in old homes? Thanks, Mason
Guest guest
To be honest, there are probably gobs of toxins in that old home, but new homes also have gobs of toxins. New homes are made with much more chemicals. So, I say you have toxins no matter. But, many are replacing flooring, putting in water filters, ridding molds, and painting over the old lead paint. Getting the electrical looked at to reduce " dirty electricity " may also be good. Keep in mind that us older folks grew up in those old houses, and we did much better than our kids are doing.
